Mrs.
Hulton has a Master's degree in Varying
Exceptionalities with an emphasis on
testing and assessment,
as well as an undergraduate degree in
sociology and social work.
She is also certified in Special
Education, grades K-12. Mrs. Hulton has
taught in Hillsborough County for over
ten years in a variety of
subjects, including drug prevention,
reading, writing, language arts,
math, social skills, career placement,
and even coached girl's basketball. Mrs.
Hulton has taught at many of the Bay
Area elementary and middle schools as
well as assisted in conferences
and trainings on children's needs.
A few of the many accomplishments Mrs.
Hulton has made along the way include,
students' long-term successes, personal
growth in the educational field, and
honorary awards from previous schools,
such as social service awards
and Teacher of The Year in 2004 from
Martinez Middle School.
Mrs.
Hulton's expertise range from testing
and assessments to reading and writing
skills, grades k-12. She takes great
pride in recognizing students strengths
and learning styles, while using these
to assist in educating them. After
giving birth to her first child last
year, Mrs. Hulton decided to put her
educational career in the Hillsborough
County School System on hold. Mrs.
Hulton began tutoring in clients'
homes and realized that much of her time
was wasted driving and that many
students were extremely distracted in
their environments. This lead to the
creation of The A+ Tutoring Center.
Mrs. Hulton teamed up with Mrs. Daerr,
who was also out on maternity leave, to
begin a wonderful tutoring partnership.
Together, Mrs. Hulton and Mrs. Daerr use
their knowledge and expertise to help
students accomplish their educational
goals. Thus far, clients and
families are very pleased with the
services that these educators
provide and the proof is in the report
cards. |
